Helena Zambrano Quispe - violin
Helena was born in Łódź, Poland, and started to play the violin when she was 7 years old.
She studied at Warsaw Chopin University of Music, and then gained her Master's degree at the Hochshule der Kunst Bern (Switzerland). She moved to Scotland seven years ago, and is now a member of the Scottish Opera orchestra. She also plays with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
Chamber music is a passion of hers, and she really loves cross genre music projects.
Zuzanna Olbryś - harp
Originally from Poland, she graduated with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where she studied with Imogen Barford. Before moving to the UK she studied with Helga Storck at the Academy of Music in Katowice, where she completed her Bachelor of Music degree.
Recent highlights of her work include performing with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Glyndebourne, City of London Sinfonia and Southbank Sinfonia in collaboration with the Royal Opera House.
Zuzanna plays on a beautiful Horngacher harp thanks to the generous support of the Abbado Young Musicians Trust and the Loan Fund for Musical Instruments. Her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama were kindly supported by the Leverhulme Trust.
